Dwell At Ease...

We may not be comfortable with and or in our circumstances, but we have a choice to either be in tune with them or in tune with God’s word. I choose God's word, if I am honest it isn't always easy to choose because quite frankly giving in to "the flesh" and what I think is right and what I think I should do is easier. The nerve of us to think we know what's best for our lives like we created ourselves ha! But I am learning that as I choose God's word and guidance over my own plans I am able to dwell at ease.

When we choose God’s word you’ll begin to operate from a place of faith and that’s how you want to operate! The position of faith allows us to dwell at ease. We must trust that God will guide and lead us even in the midst of our circumstances. There are also 2 other components that are needed to dwell at ease and those are...

1. Reverent Fear of God “The fear of God is an attitude of respect, a response of reverence and wonder. It is the only appropriate response to our Creator and Redeemer” (Nelson’s NKJV Study Bible, 1997, note on Psalm 128:1).

2. Worship

God leads those who reverently fears and worships Him. So in the midst of your circumstances you can dwell at ease by operating out of faith, reverential fear and  worship. You got this, God's got you! DWELL AT EASE...

Who is the man who reverently fears and worships the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way that he should choose. He himself shall dwell at ease, and his offspring shall inherit the land. The secret [of the sweet, satisfying companionship] of the Lord have they who fear (revere and worship) Him, and He will show them His covenant and reveal to them its [deep, inner] meaning.
